Individual psychotherapy,
in San Francisco.
I work with individual patients on a wide range of concerns — from depression, anxiety, and trauma to relationship difficulties, creative blocks, and challenging life transitions.
People come to individual therapy for many different reasons — and often at a moment when what they've been doing just isn't working anymore.
Whether you're in crisis, working through a long-standing pattern, or just living with a quiet sense that things could be different — therapy can help you understand yourself more fully and make lasting, positive changes.
My approach is collaborative, personal, and direct. Sessions are available in my Noe Valley office and via secure video throughout California.
MY APPROACH
Compassionate, honest, and tailored to you.
Individualized
I draw from psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, brief-therapy, and Eastern medicine frameworks — and apply what's genuinely useful for your particular situation, not a one-size-fits-all protocol.
Direct and collaborative
I'll be direct with you about what I observe, what I think is useful, and what progress looks like. We’ll decide together what's working and where to focus our attention.
Short- and long-term
I work in both brief, solution-focused formats and longer-term psychotherapy. The right approach depends on your goals, your circumstances, and what you're trying to change.
